In 2025, the market environment remains tense, industrial investment slows, and global uncertainty continues to unfold. Yet, in this year, Weidmuller, the Detmold-based electrical and connectivity technology company, once again crossed a crucial threshold-achieving annual revenue exceeding €1 billion.

More importantly, this year marks Weidmuller's 175th anniversary.
(I) "We're on the Right Path"
"Achieving €1 billion in revenue again in a persistently difficult economic environment demonstrates that we're on the right track," commented Dr. Sebastian Durst, Chairman of the Board of Management of the Weidmuller Group.
In his view, the impact of short-term market fluctuations was limited; the real support stemmed from the company's unwavering long-term strategy: electrification, automation, and digitalization.
(II) An Anniversary Celebration "Bringing Customers into the Factory"
The 175th anniversary was not simply a private internal celebration.
Throughout 2025, Weidmüller launched a series of events at its headquarters called "Orange Weeks."
Global customer teams immersed themselves in Orange Weeks in Detmüller, not only listening but also personally experiencing the core of solutions and products.
Workshops featured disassembly, demonstrations, and immersive experiences.
This completely transcended the framework of brand presentation, transforming into a deep exchange with technology as its native language.
(III) New Electronics Factory
Another frequently mentioned event in 2025 was the official commencement of production at the new electronics factory.
This modern factory in Detmüller is more than just capacity expansion.
Amidst geopolitical tensions and repeated supply chain disruptions, it represents a clear choice-to produce in Europe for the European market.
By strengthening local manufacturing capabilities, Weidmüller hopes to enhance its regional resilience and reduce potential supply chain shocks in an uncertain external environment.
(IV) Looking Towards 2026: Not Expansion, but Continued Deepening
Looking ahead to 2026, Weidmüller has not changed its pace. The company will continue to focus on core areas such as electrical connection technology, industrial IoT, automation, and renewable energy, with a clear goal: to provide truly effective solutions for customers' specific applications.
