On November 8, 2025, the inauguration ceremony of the permanent campus of Hainan Bielefeld University, themed "New Campus, New Beginning, New Future – The Implementation of a Distinctive and Innovative Education Model in Hainan," was officially launched in Yangpu Economic Development Zone, Danzhou. Weidmüller was invited to attend the ceremony to support the implementation of his "practice-embedded" talent training model in China.

As the founding partner of Hainan Bielefeld University's "practice-embedded" education model, Weidmüller has been deeply involved from the project's inception, combining the German "dual system" education philosophy with the key industrial needs of the Hainan Free Trade Port to build a complete collaborative education system of "co-construction of curriculum, co-responsibility for practical training, and co-cultivation of talent." Mr. André Sombecki, Chief Financial Officer of the Weidmüller Group, delivered a speech , and Weidmüller also presented Hainan Bielefeld University with a "yun" (Cultivation) stone and a Jaboticaba tree as special gifts, expressing Weidmüller's firm commitment to talent cultivation and its beautiful vision for win-win Sino-German cooperation.

From the growth and transformation in the training field to the talent empowerment of the core industries of the free trade port; from the implementation of the "practice-embedded" model to the outward extension of Sino-German integration experience-the cooperation between Weidmüller and Hainan Bielefeld University will be upgraded from school-enterprise collaboration to a link between the free trade port and the world. And the students, nurtured by the "yun" (Cultivation) stone and growing with the Jaboticaba tree, will eventually become a bridge for Sino-German communication, allowing the new momentum of "Sino-German integration" to continue to burst forth in the waves of the free trade port.
