To ensure the operation and maintenance of the switch, the business and management VLANs are planned, and the remote/local remote ports of the switch are enabled. Why do we have to occupy a physical port for local operation and maintenance? The question is just in case.
Generally, the last port of all switches is a reserved configuration port (or a dedicated port is defined for the same model). You can connect to this port via a network cable to enter the switch configuration interface and implement local operation and maintenance.
Switch Configuration Saving
Basic Settings--Load/Save

Switch Firmware Update
Note: During the software update, the power must not be turned off, otherwise unpredictable failures may occur. Take screenshots of the previous version interface before and after and save them to verify whether the upgrade is normal. Copy the firmware compressed file to the current configuration computer and decompress it. Log in to the WEB page and enter the window shown below:
Select Basic Settings--Software in the tree bar on the left

Go to the switch firmware unzip file directory. In this directory, there are two files with the suffix .bin. Select the XXXP.bin file to load. The path and file name of this file will be displayed in the File window of "HTTP Sofware Update". After confirming that it is correct, click Update to update the software. It will take several minutes. After the update is completed, cold restart the switch. After the restart is completed, the update is completed.
