Space and wiring time are very important in control cabinet assembly. Weidmüller's Klippon® Connect high-current terminal blocks help save both while ensuring safe and efficient power distribution to consumers.
The Klippon® Connect product range has been expanded to include the new A2C 50/70 and A2C 95/120 high-current terminal blocks. They can connect solid and stranded wires with a maximum rated cross-section of 70 mm² or 120 mm².
Other features include a voltage rating of 1000VAC/1500VDC and a current rating of 150A (A2C 50/70) or 232A (A2C 95/120).![]()

Weidmüller's A2C 50/70 and A2C 95/120 push-in terminal blocks distribute power to consumers safely and efficiently
As with the smaller cross-section versions, the new terminal blocks also feature a push-in power connection with a lever. This allows conductor connections to be made in seconds.
You simply insert the wire into the open contacts and then actuate the lever to create a long-term stable, gas-tight and vibration-resistant connection. When the lever is closed, the wire can be inserted directly into the connection point without any tools.
This connection guarantees a high degree of flexibility in the wiring process while maintaining process reliability. This will save a lot of wiring time, especially when wiring work is carried out on site in the factory, as such operations are often carried out under adverse conditions.
Potential distribution is as simple as connecting. Simply place the cross-connector in the open contact and confirm with the lever. This creates a secure contact, with or without additional connected conductors.
The cross-connectors are designed so that they can be immediately identified, even when connecting conductors. The orange collar clearly protrudes from the contact without interfering with the wiring work.

Efficient potential distribution: Simply place the cross-connector in the open contacts and close the contacts with the lever
A single voltage distribution point can be realized with a uniform auxiliary connection with a cross-section of 50 mm² to 185 mm². For example, it can be used for emergency power supply before the power switch, as a signal point or for loops in surge protectors.
Other applications include providing maintenance sockets or control cabinet lighting. The auxiliary connection is equipped with a lever mechanism, which also allows tool-free wiring of multi-wires. Another practical feature is the standardized test point with a diameter of 2.0 mm.
Standardized accessories ensure trouble-free operation with all A-series terminal blocks and offer a streamlined accessory portfolio for quick and easy testing.

A unified auxiliary connection with a cross-sectional area of 50mm²-185mm² allows a single voltage point, and a standard 2.0mm diameter test point allows you to test easily and quickly
For a better overview, especially with a wide range of mounting options, large marking labels can be used to identify the applied voltage. Fixing the lightning mark in the 35mm²-185mm² connection area also prevents wiring in a live state. This ensures the safety of both humans and machines.

Large marking labels alert you to applied voltage, and fixed lightning bolts deter you from wiring while live
A wide range of terminal block systems and prefabricated module series as well as various mounting options leave nothing to be desired: Customers can choose between three-, four- and five-pole terminal block versions with L1, L2, L3 or L1, L2, L3 and N, as well as L1, L2, L3, N and PE.
Prefabricated power terminal blocks reduce the number of variants and storage costs, and they can also be installed quickly and easily, either by snapping into a TS 35 terminal rail or screwing to a mounting plate using the integrated foot bracket.
Klippon® Connect high-current terminal blocks support the entire control cabinet assembly process with their convincing concept. Whether it is simple handling when connecting the conductors, more space in the control cabinet, or time saving during installation: Klippon® Connect will make a significant contribution to improving productivity and safety.
