Online COD meter
Maintainance
Clean the probe daily.
Calibration
Prepare the COD standard solution: take a water sample from the site, determine the COD value, and use this value as the standard solution value. If multi-point calibration is required, it is necessary to prepare multiple standard solutions with concentration gradients. The concentration of the measured solution should preferably be within the range of the standard solution.
Calibration Method
Select "CH1:1:1" in the calibration interface of the COD meter, select SAC, and select "Data Group" after entering. 6 groups of calibration data can be stored. If the 6 groups of data are full, you can delete some of them. (Deletion method, select the data group to be deleted, select "Edit Table" after entering, press "DEL" after entering, delete one data, press again, delete another data, until it is empty, press "SAVE". The deletion of this group of data is completed). After cleaning the COD probe, put it in a standard solution of known concentration, select a blank data group to enter, select "Start Calibration", press "OK" twice, and then it will display "Wait for stable measured value", wait, and the "Nominal Value" page will pop up, select "Nominal Value", and modify the value to the prepared standard solution concentration value. The standard of the standard solution is completed. If it is a multi-point standard, put the probe in the next standard solution, select "Calibrate the next test", and repeat the previous standard method until all standard solutions are calibrated. After the last standard solution is calibrated and the nominal value is modified, select "Accept calibration data" and press "OK" to accept the calibration data. The screen displays "Do you want to enable the calibrated data set now?" Press "OK" to enable the calibrated data set and the calibration is complete. Press "ESC" to return to the main interface.
Online DO meter
Maintainance
Clean the probe daily.
Calibration
The calibration cycle should be once a week to two weeks, generally air calibration.
Calibration Method
Take the probe out of the water, clean it, and place it in the air. If the wind is strong, put the probe in an empty box to block the wind. Press the "CAL" button, rotate the knob on the right, select "Dissolved Oxygen (Fluorescence Method)", press the knob on the right, select "Slope", and then select "Air 100% rH", press the knob to start calibration. The saturated dissolved oxygen in the air will be different at different temperatures, and the instrument will automatically determine the saturated dissolved oxygen value. Wait for about 2-3 minutes, and press the knob when "Do you want to accept the adjusted calibration data?" appears. When "Calibration Completed" is displayed, press the knob, the calibration is completed, and press ESC to exit to the display interface.
ORP Meter
The significance of ORP
ORP characterizes the redox properties of all substances in the water environment. The higher the ORP, the higher the oxidizing property. A positive ORP indicates a certain oxidizing property, while a negative ORP indicates a certain reducing property. The main function of hydrolysis acidification is to break the chains of large molecular organic matter in the influent water and turn it into small molecular organic matter, so as to facilitate more effective aerobic removal in the later stage. The hydrolysis acidification tank is not aerated, but only stirred. It is generally a reducing environment, and the ORP is generally less than 0. When the ORP is greater than 0, it is an oxidizing environment (such as an aerobic tank). The higher the pH, the lower the ORP.
Calibration Method
Take out the probe of the ORP meter to be calibrated, wash it with pure water, wipe off the moisture on the probe, and put it into the prepared standard solution. Press the corresponding button below "CAL" to select the probe to be calibrated (CH1 corresponds to the ORP probe of hydrolysis tank A, CH2 corresponds to the ORP probe of hydrolysis tank B, rotate the knob on the right to move up and down, and press the knob to confirm after selecting). After entering, select single-point calibration and press the knob on the right to confirm (pressing the corresponding button below "OK" has the same effect). If the standard solution is 220mv, rotate the knob to select "Continue". If the standard solution value is not 220mv, select "Calibration Solution", enter the value of the new calibration solution after entering, and select "Continue" after confirming. When "Do you want to start calibration?" is displayed, press the knob on the right to confirm, wait for a few minutes, and "Complete calibration" is displayed. Confirm and exit (the corresponding button below "ESC"). If it shows "Not completed", it needs to be recalibrated. Daily management mainly involves cleaning the probe at least once a day to ensure that the probe is clean and free of scale and debris.
Online pH meter (E+H)
Maintainance
Soaking the pH meter probe in a saturated KCl solution can greatly extend the service life of the probe.
Cleaning
After cleaning the probe with deionized water, soak it in 1mol/L (3%) HCl solution for 5 minutes. If it is still not clean after 5 minutes, extend the soaking time until the probe surface and the reference electrode are clean.
Calibration Method
According to the current usage, the calibration cycle should be once a week or two weeks. Press the corresponding button below "CAL" to enter the calibration interface, rotate the knob to move up and down, select "Two-point calibration", press the knob to start calibration. Calibrate 7 first, then calibrate 4. You can also choose 10, 7 standard solution. When choosing 10, 7 standard solution, calibrate 7 first, then calibrate 10.
Online Ammonia Nitrogen Analyzer
Maintainance
Clean the probe daily.
Standard solution configuration
Calibrate the pH probe first, then calibrate the ammonia nitrogen probe. To calibrate the pH probe, select "CH2:1:2 ISE" on the calibration interface of the ammonia nitrogen meter, select two-point calibration, select "1 (R) PH", and then select "Start calibration". The subsequent method is the same as the pH meter calibration method. Prepare the ammonia nitrogen standard solution: take a water sample on site and determine the ammonia nitrogen value. If it is lower than 5 mg/L, add the ammonia nitrogen standard solution prepared by the manufacturer to the water sample on site. Take 900 mL of the water sample on site, add 100 mL of the ammonia nitrogen standard solution prepared by the manufacturer (100 mg/L), mix evenly, and the concentration of the prepared standard solution = Take 900 mL of the water sample on site, add 100 mL of the ammonia nitrogen standard solution prepared by the manufacturer (100 mg/L), mix evenly, and the concentration of the prepared standard solution = the concentration of the ammonia nitrogen laboratory of the water sample on site + 10. For example, if the laboratory measures the ammonia nitrogen of the water sample on site as 3.5 mg/L, the concentration of the prepared standard solution is 13.5 mg/L.
Ammonia nitrogen probe calibration method
Select "CH2:1:2 ISE" on the calibration interface of the ammonia nitrogen meter and select single-point calibration. You can also perform a two-point calibration, in which case you need to prepare two ammonia nitrogen standard solutions of different concentrations, and the difference should be as large as possible. Place the probe into the prepared ammonia nitrogen standard solution, select "2 (1) ammonia nitrogen", and then select "Start calibration". If you are asked if you know the measured value, select "Yes". Enter the concentration value of the prepared standard solution, select "Continue", then confirm, wait for a few minutes, and it will display "Calibration is valid. Do you want to accept the adjusted calibration data?" Press OK to accept, and it will display "Calibration completed", press OK to exit. If the calibration fails, recalibrate.
